If you are thinking about celebrating Halloween this year, there is no better place to be than Baltimore. From parties, parades, exhibits, and tours, there is something in Baltimore for everyone, whether child or adult.
To ensure a safe and spooky Halloween, An ExtraOrdinar Limousine has compiled a list of the best Halloween events happening this week.
Monsters, Mystery, and Magic – Port Discovery Children’s Museum
Halloween does not have to be scary to be fun! This family-friendly event is open to children of all ages who are looking for a special Halloween treat. Port Discovery will be offering monster crafts, magicians, games, and music, and shows everyday day until Thursday, October 31st.
All children are encouraged to come wearing their favorite costume, but if not, they can make their own in Dr. Frankenstein’s Monster Factory.
Any Baltimore parents looking for an inside Halloween celebration during the day, Port Discovery Children’s Museum is the place to be.
Baltimore Ghost Tours
Some people love Baltimore so much, they never want to leave – even after death. Uncover Baltimore’s spookiest origins and haunted places on ghost tours through historic neighborhoods.
The Original Fell’s Point Ghostwalk and the Mount Vernon Ghostwalk offers tales of ghostly interactions and those who mysteriously vanished. For patrons over the age of 21 looking for spirits of their own, Mount Vernon and Fell’s Point also offers popular haunted pub walk tours.
Dia de Los Muertos Community Celebration – The Walters Art Museum
Believe it or not, Halloween is so much more than trick or treating. Dia de Los Muertos, otherwise known as The Day of The Dead, is a Mexican holiday designed to celebrate and remember loved ones who have passed.
Guests of all ages are welcome to attend the free community celebration at The Walters Art Museum on November 4th from 11 am-4 pm. Guests are free to tour the collection of artworks from around the world while enjoying dance performances, arts and crafts, and traditional food and drink.
Costume Bar Crawls
Halloween celebrations don’t have to end when you grow up – they just get better. Almost every local bar or tavern is hosting a Halloween event, featuring specialty drinks, costume contests, and exclusive musical guests.
Whether you choose to join a featured bar crawl or decide to make your own spooky path, be sure to book a ride with An ExtraOrdinar Limousine. Our team is committed to providing quality services, so our guests can safely enjoy their Halloween festivities.
Pumpkin Drop – Maryland Science Center
There is no better way to bid your Halloween jack-o-lantern a proper farewell than by launching it off the roof. Guests of the Maryland Science Center are invited to drop their pumpkins off in the lobby before watching them fly four stories into the air. Unfortunately, guests are not allowed to launch their own pumpkin off the roof, but they can safely watch the landing from the patio.
